    Application of Corrosion Monitoring Technology to CPF3 in Halfaya Oilfield

    • Firstly, the common corrosion monitoring technology is introduced. Then, three kinds of corrosion monitoring techniques, resistance probe, corrosion coupon and ultrasonic spot wall thickness monitor system, used in the third stage of central processing factory (CPF3) for crude oil in Halfaya oilfield are expounded. According to the process characteristics, corrosion conditions and service experience, the selection principle and distribution of corrosion monitoring points are discussed. Finally, the construction of CPF3 corrosion monitoring network of Halfaya oilfield is introduced, this network successfully applied various corrosion monitoring technologies to Halfaya oilfield.
