Inhibition Effect of Quaternary Composite Corrosion Inhibitor on Carbon Steel in Neutral NaCl Solution

Abstract
A quaternary composite corrosion inhibitor HZY03 with good corrosion inhibition effect was developed through orthogonal experiments. Dynamic weight loss method, electrochemical method, corrosion morphology characterization and other methods were used to study the corrosion inhibition effect of this compound corrosion inhibitor on carbon steel in 3.5% NaCl solution. The results show that the corrosion inhibition effect of HZY03 increased with the increase of the corrosion inhibitor dose, and the best mass concentration was 150 mg/L, under these conditions, its corrosion inhibition rates for carbon steel in low temperature (45 ℃) and high temperature (80 ℃) test solutions were 91.96% and 91.02%, respectively. HZY03 was an anodic corrosion inhibitor, which could effectively inhibit metal corrosion in 3.5% NaCl solution.
