    Correlation and Evaluation Method of Indoor and Outdoor Soil Corrosion Experiments of Grounding Materials

    • Corrosion rates of seven kinds of grounding materials in four typical soils in China were determined by weight loss method through on-site embedding test and indoor accelerated corrosion test. The basic data obtained by corrosion test were processed by regression fitting, data normalization and evaluation grading. The evaluation method of corrosion resistance of the grounding materials based on soil accelerated corrosion test was obtained and correlation between the two corrosion tests was calculated. The results show that the indoor accelerated corrosion test had a good correlation with the results of on-site embedding test. The normalized data processing method could effectively reduce the impact of random factors on the test results, and further increase the reliability of the evaluation results. The accuracy rates of 15 d and 30 d indoor accelerated corrosion evaluation were 85.7% and 96.4%.
