    Research Status of Corrosion and Monitoring Protection of Transmission Lines in Serious Corrosion Area

    • With the development of China's electric power industry, the corrosion of metal components on the transmission line also becomes increasingly. Especially in strong corrosion environment such as industrial heavily polluted areas and coastal areas, the anti-corrosion effect of hot-dip galvanized metal components is greatly weakened, it is difficult to meet the service requirements. Based on the on-the-spot investigation, combined with the working characteristics and service status of each component, the corrosion status and mechanism of metal components such as transmission towers, wires and fittings are summarized, and the monitoring and protection technology of transmission line facilities are studied. This article may provid support for the safe and stable operation of transmission network.
