Abstract
The current researches of domestic and foreign scholars mainly focus on single-point corrosion defects of pipelines. There are few studies on double-point corrosion, especially the lack of research on double-point corrosion defects of high-grade steel pipelines. Taking X100 high-steel-grade single-corrosion and double-corrosion pipelines as the research object, ABAQUS software was used to establish a finite element model to study the influence of different corrosion defect geometric parameters such as corrosion depth, corrosion width, corrosion length, and double pitting spacing on the failure pressure at axial double pitting corrosion condition. The results show that compared with other parameters, axial double pitting depth had the greatest influence on the failure pressure. At the same time, as the depth and length of the axial double pitting defect increased, the failure pressure decreased, and the rate of decrease showed a decreasing trend.
