Abstract
The influence of the thickness of the insulating film between electrodes on the reliability and measurement sensitivity of dual-electrode galvanic cell sensor and its practicability in outdoor atmospheric environment were studied through laboratory salt spray tests and field tests in outdoor atmospheric environments in Shenyang. The results show that the optimal insulating film thickness for sensors suitable for long-term outdoor field monitoring was 0.3-0.5 mm, the sensor monitoring results had a good linear correlation with the corrosion coupon test results. The sensor could be well applied to corrosion monitoring and research in outdoor atmospheric environment.
