Abstract
Two kinds of hydrotalcite-like films including Mg-Al hydrotalcite film and decadexanadate intercalated hydrotalcite film were prepared on aluminum substrate. Then super-hydrophobic hydrotalcite-like films were prepared by surface modification to hydrotalcite-like films using perfluorooctyl triethoxy silane and through vapor deposition method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and contact angle measuring instrument were used to analyze the structure and wettability of the films. The effects of modification time on the structure and super-hydrophobic properties of the films were discussed. Electrochemical test, short-term immersion test and salt spraying test were carried out to study the corrosion resistance of the prepared super-hydrophobic films. The results show that the hydrophobic films could obtain super-hydrophobic property when modified for 1 h. With the extension of modification time, the contact angles of the super-hydrophobic films were basically unchanged, and 12 h was the best modification time. The super-hydrophobic films could greatly improve the corrosion resistance of the substrate. And the corrosion resistance of the super-hydrophobic hydrotalcite-like film installed with inhibitor of vanadate was much better than that of the pure super-hydrophobic hydrotalcite-like film.
