Corrosion Behaviors of 10CrMoAl Steel and 20# steel in Soil Environment of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Site

  • Through corrosion testing of 10CrMoAl steel used for seawater delivery pipe and 20# steel used for fresh water supply pipe in the soil environment of Qinshan nuclear power plant site, the protective effects of different protection measures on two types of steel were analyzed. The results showed that the corrosion rates of the two types of steel in soil environment of Qinshan nuclear power plant were very low, and both had different degrees of pitting corrosion; the method of coating + cathodic protection had the best protection effect on two types of steel.
