    Corrosion Reasons and Anti-Corrosion Measures for Rubber Lined Pipe in Auxiliary Cooling Water System of a Coastal Power Plant

    • The corrosion of rubber lined pipe in the auxiliary cooling water system of a coastal power plant was checked, and the main reasons for the corrosion and perforation of the rubber lined pipe were analyzed. The results showed that the sacrificial anode protection could not play a protective role, galvanic corrosion caused by titanium tube, and mechanical damage caused by maintenance methods were the main reasons for the damage of rubber lining. According to the analysis results, it was recommended to reduce the frequency of rubber lined pipe removal and to install cathodic protection devices.
