Abstract
Corrosion behavior of 2507 super duplex stainless steel in high temperature potassium formate completion fluid environment was studied through high temperature and high pressure corrosion simulation test, EDS, SEM, XPS and other analysis methods. The results showed that with the increase of temperature, the uniform corrosion rate of 2507 super duplex steel increased from 0.000 2 mm/a at 200 ℃ to 0.858 7 mm/a at 240 ℃. When the temperature were 220 ℃ and 240 ℃, 2507 super duplex steel underwent selective corrosion in the completion fluid. XPS test results showed that the corrosion product film mainly composed of Fe, Cr, Ni oxides and hydroxides was formed on the surface of the sample.
