    Corrosion and Protection of Stator Copper Coil in Internal Cooling Water

    • As a component of generator, the stator coil is made of hollow copper wire, in which the cooling water flows. The corrosion of stator coil is inevitable in long-term operation. The accumulation of corrosion products worsens the quality of internal cooling water and even causes water blockage, which seriously affects the safety of power production. Aiming at the corrosion problem of generator stator coil at present, this paper introduces the influence of water quality of stator inner cooling water on stator corrosion and how to control the corrosion of stator coil in inner cooling water, summarizes all kinds of new corrosion inhibitors, and introduces the cleaning and maintenance methods of the stator coil. It is hoped to provide a reference for the control of stator coil corrosion in internal cooling water.
