Application of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection in Reinforced Concrete Seawater Tank

    • In recent years, corrosion of reinforced concrete structures has become the number one killer that causes structural damage and affects structural safety. The impressed current cathodic protection method is an effective electrochemical method to control the corrosion of concrete steel bars, which meets the requirements of seawater pool steel protection, and has high effectiveness, long protection degree and longevity, and has been universally recognized at home and abroad. This paper introduces the cathodic protection of concrete steel bars in complex ocean ponds, and expounds the various problems encountered in the impressed current cathodic protection of complex structures.
