Joint Application of ICDA and ECDA to Integrity Assessment of Gas Pressure Pipelines

The technical advantages, data mining, and evaluation process of the direct evaluation of internal and external corrosion of pipelines are introduced. An example of an inter-provincial long-distance pipeline in northern China shows that the combined use of two assessment techniques can effectively predict and discover volumetric defects induced by corrosion on the inner and outer walls of the pipeline.
