    Research Progress of Chemical Milling Technology for Titanium and Titanium Alloy

    • Chemical milling is a technology of processing and repairing titanium and titanium alloy through surface corrosion using chemical solution. The composition of chemical milling solution, reaction mechanism, processes, affecting factors (material status, solution temperature, HF content, and stirring velocity) of chemical milling are introduced. Finally, prospects of chemical milling technology for titanium and titanium alloy are proposed.
