    Research and Application Progress of Acrylic-Based Waterborne Metal Anticorrosion Coatings

    • The organic coatings for metal corrosion protection are gradually becoming more environmentally friendly and water-based. Modified acrylic-based water-based anti-corrosion coatings have the characteristics of corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and chemical resistance. They are widely used in the field of anti-corrosion coatings. The modification methods and mechanisms of waterborne acrylic resins from the perspectives of polymer chain structure and new material composite modified emulsions are systematically reviewed, and the application progress of modified acrylic anticorrosive coatings is briefly introduced.
