Abstract
Taking the overlap joint of CR330Y590T-DP GI50/50 galvanized steel plate and AA6016 T4 aluminum sheet commonly used in automobile as the research objects, the process of electrochemical corrosion of steel/aluminum overlap joints was simulated by corrosion simulation software, and cyclic salt spray corrosion tests were performed to the joints. The reliability of the model was analyzed by comparing the simulation results with the experimental results. The results show that the simulated results matched well with the actual tested results, which means the corrosion simulation software can simulate the crevice corrosion of joint surface between galvanized steel and aluminum alloy to a certain extent.
