Corrosion Protection Status and Countermeasures of Shield Tunnel Pipeline

Abstract
Through on-site investigation of 5 shield tunnel pipelines, the corrosion and protection status of corrosion resistant coating of hot bends and straight pipe sections, field joint coating and pipeline steel components of shield tunnels is analyzed. It is clarified that the mechanical damage during the installation of hot bends is an important reason for the damage of corrosion resistant coating, the joint patching method of viscoelastic body and heat shrinkable tape can effectively prevent the failure of field joint coating, and the sacrificial anode method can inhibit the corrosion of pipeline steel components. And through the analysis of current corrosion situation, some countermeasure supports for the corrosion protection of the shield tunnel pipeline are proposed.
