    Comparison of Acoustic Emission Detection Standards for Atmospheric Tank at Home and Abroad

    • Acoustic emission is currently the most feasible online detection technology for tank floor corrosion, and relevant testing standards have been formed at home and abroad, including ASTM E1930, BS EN 15856, JB/T 10764, Q/SY GD 0211. The 4 standards have different requirements for equipment, sensitivity testing, detection steps, and result evaluation. Based on the comparative analysis of domestic and foreign acoustic emission testing standards, combined with production practice, the revision direction and suggestions of acoustic emission detection standards for storage tanks are put forward.
