Abstract
A high-voltage gas pipeline was seriously disturbed by the dynamic stray current from adjacent DC rail transit system, the cathodic protection effect of the pipeline was poor, and the demand for discharge current was large. A data recorder was used for long-term continuous power-on and power-off potential monitoring, the effectiveness of cathodic protection of the pipeline and the interference of stray current were evaluated, and the optimal design of discharge position of applied current cathodic protection was carried out. This method can be used as a reference for the evaluation and protection of DC current stray current interference in steel gas pipelines.
