    Corrosion Behavior of Pipeline Steel in Acidic Environments

    • The commonly used pipeline steels L245N and L450 for ground gathering and transportation were selected, and their corrosion rates and stress corrosion susceptibility under different test conditions were studied through immersion corrosion and slow strain rate tests, and the corrosion mechanism and influencing factors were also analyzed. The results showed that under the conditions of high PCO2/PH2S, medium Cl- content (7.4%) and 60℃, the corrosion rates of the two pipeline steels were relatively great and the stress corrosion sensitivity was high.
