Abstract
Aiming at the failure of nuclear-grade anti-corrosion coating on the surface of chilled water system pipes in nuclear power plants, three kinds of nuclear-grade anti-corrosion coating systems commonly used in nuclear power plants were selected. The anti-corrosion properties and failure mechanisms of these coatings in the service environment of the chilled water pipeline were studied through water resistance test, condensation water resistance test, and electrochemical test. The results showed that the adhesion of the three coatings before and after the water resistance and condensation water resistance tests all exceeded 5 MPa, which met the standard requirements. After 1 000 h water resistance test and 480 h condensation water resistance test, all coating samples could meet the standard requirements for blistering, cracking, rust and spalling.
