Design and Electrochemical Performance of Al-Zn-Ga Sacrificial Anodes with Low Driving Voltage

  • 16 kinds of alloy formulas of Al-Zn-Ga sacrificial anodes with low driving voltage were designed in terms of orthogonal test table. The electrochemical performance of the Al-Zn-Ga anodes was studied by galvanostatic method. And the corrosion morphology of the anodes was observered. The results indicated that with the increase of Zn and Ga content in the anodes, the working potentials of the anodes shifted negatively. The best alloy formula of Al-Zn-Ga anode was Al-0.25Zn-0.05Ga, which had working potentials in a range from -800 mV to -750 mV, and had the highest electric capacity up to 2 426 A·h/kg.
