    Research Progress of Carbon Quantum Dots in Metal Corrosion Protection

    • Carbon quantum dots (CQDs), as an environmentally friendly, inexpensive, biodegradable and green material with a large number of active functional groups, have wide application prospects in many fields. The research status of CQDs in the field of metal corrosion protection in recent years is reviewed in this paper. The problems of CQDs in corrosion protection research are described. The mechanism of corrosion inhibition is discussed, and the development trend of CQDs in the field of corrosion protection is prospected.
