Abstract
Single internal anti-corrosion technology in key corrosion areas of Changqing oilfield cannot meet the needs of on-site. This paper introduced the optimization of low alloy corrosion-resistant pipe in the oilfield, which evaluated the corrosion resistance through indoor high temperature and high pressure test and field hanging ring test, and realized large-scale application on-site. The results showed that temperature had the greatest effect on the corrosion rate. Under the same corrosion conditions, the average corrosion rate and local corrosion rate of 5Cr low alloy corrosion resistant steel produced by Baosteel and Baotou Steel was lower than those of N80 steel by more than 50% and 40%, respectively, and its predicted life could reach 10 years. 5Cr low alloy corrosion resistant steel is an effective and economical material selection scheme to reduce local corrosion in key corrosion areas of Changqing oilfield.
