Abstract
Nickel coatings were obtained on the surface of copper alloy by electroplating, and the grain size of the coating was 10-20 nm and 0.2-0.3 μm, respectively. The microstructure of the coatings were characterized by transmission electron microscope, and the corrosion resistance of the coating was tested by electrochemical method and salt spray test. The results showed that the corrosion potential of the nano nickel coating was high, and a dense Ni(OH)2 passive film was formed on the surface of the sample, which could effectively isolate the corrosion medium and had good corrosion resistance. After 216 h salt spray test, mirror luster could also be obserbed on the surface of the nano nickel coating, and the surface of micro nickel coating had corrosion product accumulation, which further verified that the corrosion resistance of the nano nickel coating was relatively good.
