Leakage Failure Reason of Condenser Tube Bundles

The causes of condenser tube bundle leakage in a chemical fertilizer plant were analyzed by macroscopiy inspection, chemical composition analysis, microscopic morphology observation and energy spectrum analysis. The results showed that chloride ion pitting under the scale occurred in the tube bundle. And the chemical cleaning chemicals contained fluoride ions, and the chloride ions and fluoride ions gathered and concentrated under the effect of natural evaporation during the two shutdown periods of over cleaning purging start-up, which aggravated pitting and caused corrosion perforation.
