    Preparation and Properties of Environment Friendly Epoxy Coatings with High Solid Content and Low Surface Treatment Tolerance

    • Epoxy coatings with high solid content and low surface treatment tolerance were prepared, and the effects of resin content, curing agent type, compound of pigment and filler on the properties of the prepared coatings were discussed respectively, in order to meet the maintenance requirements of steel structure equipment surface. The results showed that the coating prepared with the optimum formula had good flow property and wettability, in which the mass fraction of epoxy resin in component A was 25%, modified Mannich base was curing agent, the compound of zinc phosphate, zinc oxide, aluminum tripolyphosphate, zinc molybdate, and composite iron-titanium powders was pigment and filler. So it was able to be used on the substrate after low surface treatment, and the corrosion resistance of the film coating was excellent.
