Corrosion and Leakage Behaviors and Key Influencing Factors of Medium and Low Pressure Gas Pipeline Network

Based on the statistics of pipeline corrosion leakage data of a regional low and medium pressure pipeline network in Beijing from 2016 to 2020, the corrosion influencing factors were analyzed. The results showed that factors such as the type of the external anti-corrosion layer, pressure level, cathodic protection status, and stray current intensity of the pipeline had important effects on the corrosion leakage of the pipeline. The cathodic protection status and the type of the external anti-corrosion layer had the greatest impact.
