Abstract
Reinforced thermoplastic composite pipes (RTP) are widely used in oil and gas field development, oil and gas gathering and transportation, offshore oil and gas development and other fields. As a new type of pipe material that can potentially replace advanced pipeline steel, it can not only overcome the corrosion problem of metal pipes, but also has the characteristics of strong flexibility, convenient construction and good economic benefits. The current development status of non-metallic pipes is investigated, the performance characteristics of various types of non-metallic composite pipes are compared, and the relevant standards, technical development status and application of reinforced thermoplastic pipes are emphatically introduced. The application problems and development directions of non-metallic composite pipes are summarized, and the development suggestions are put forward.
