    Oil and Gas Pipeline Cathodic Protection Scheme to Deal with the Influence of DC Grounding Electrode Current

    • At present, the location of cathodic protection power supply is not arranged according to the characteristics of DC grounding electrode current interference. The cathodic protection power supply can only output in one direction and the rated output current is small. According to the current characteristics of DC grounding electrode, a high-power cathodic protection power supply with bidirectional output capability is used to resist the influence of grounding electrode current on the pipeline. By analyzing the influence characteristics of DC grounding electrode on oil and gas pipelines, a cathodic protection scheme for oil and gas pipelines under the influence of DC grounding electrode current is proposed.
