Research Progress on Erosion Performance of Nitride Coatings in Seawater Environment

The erosion performance of nitride coatings with different structural designs in seawater environment are reviewed. The effects of matrix materials, preparation process parameters and doping elements on erosion performance of nitride coatings in seawater environment are discussed. The wear mechanism of nitride coatings in seawater environment is analyzed, and the research direction on erosion performance of nitride coatings in seawater environment is put forward.
