Key Factors Affecting Stray Current Distribution in Metro Depot and Its Interference with Adjacent Buried Oil & Gas Steel Pipelines

    • In order to systematically clarify the key factors affecting the stray current distribution in metro depots and the interference with adjacent buried pipelines, a domestic metro depot and its adjacent buried pipeline were selected as research objects. The potential and current parameters of the track and the pipeline in the depot under three different working conditions were monitored by GPS synchronous measurement. The main factors affecting the distribution of stray current in metro depot and pipeline interference were compared and analyzed, and the corresponding representative optimization and improvement measures were introduced. The results show that reverse conduction of automatic arc suppression device, diode branch circuit and track grounding method inside depot are the key factors affecting stray current distribution in the depot significantly, and comprehensive consideration of three factors can achieve effective mitigation of stray current in metro depot.
