  • The acids such as sulfuric acid,sulfonic acid and sulfide decomposed form sulfolane can corrode carbon steel equipment in aromatic extraction unit severely.The decomposition is mainly caused by the leaked oxygen,local superheating and hydrolysis.The leakage inspection,continuous addition of ethanoamine,scheduled cleaning of regeneration system and application of 1Crl8Ni9Ti material are effective measures for corrosion contro1．
