    Effects of Sulfate Reducing Bacteria on Corrosion of Carbon Steel in Cl- and SO2-4 Soils

    • The EIS characteristics of carbon steel in Cl-,SO2-4 and Cl-+SO2-4 soils with or without SRB were summarized.SRB could promote the corrosion rate of carbon steel in three kinds of soil.When SO2-4 was added to the soil containing Cl-,the corrosion rate of carbon steel increased greatly in the soil without SRB after 26 days.On the contrary,when Cl- was added to the soils contained SO2-4,the corrosion rate of carbon steel decreased obviously in the soil without SRB.
