Effects of Cl- Concentration and Temperature on Corrosion of Cr3 Steel in CO2/H2S Environment

Abstract
The effects of Cl- concentration and temperature on corrosion of Cr3 steel in CO2/H2S environment were studied by the methods of polarization curves,weight loss experiments,SEM,EDS and XRD tests.The results showed that the corrosion rate of Cr3 steel decreased with increasing of Cl- concentration at 25 ℃ and temperature.The main products were FeS at low temperature but FeS1-x at high temperature.
