Abstract
To improve the activation properties and corrosion-inhibition of Al,rotary cylinder electrode was used to study the effects of additives of Na2SnO3,F1 and their complex on the electrochemical behavior of aluminum alloy anode in 4 mol/L NaOH solution under both dynamic and static conditions. It has been shown that in static state the activation properties of Al were improved and corrosion of aluminum was inhibited when Na2SnO3 was added into 4 mol/L NaOH.But the effect was not evident in dynamic state. The corrosion rate of Al decreased when additive F1 was added into 4 mol/L NaOH in both static and dynamic states. The activation properties of Al increased and the corrosion rate of Al decreased in dynamic state when complex additives(F1+ Na2SnO3)were added into 4 mol/L NaOH.
