Effect of Ion Concentration on CO2 Corrosion Evaluated by Orthogonal Experiment

Abstract
Orthogonality experiments were performed at normal temperature and pressure to investigate the influence of six kinds of ions with different concentrations on the corrosion behavior of N80 steel in a given corrosion medium.It was found that Ca2+ and CO2-3 in the liquid medium saturated with CO2 had great effect on the corrosion rate,the next was Fe2+,and other ions had little influence.With the increase of the concentration of Cl-,the corrosion rate increased firstly and then decreased,but the change was not obvious.With the increase of the concentration of Fe2+,the corrosion rate reduced.With increasing the concentration of SO2-4 and Mg2+,the corrosion rate increased,but Mg2+ had little influence.With the increase of the concentration of Ca2+ and CO2-3,the corrosion rate decreased first and then increased.
