Corrosion Behavior of Three Kinds of Grounded Materials in Simulated Shanbei Soil Solution

  • The corrosion behavior of three kinds of grounded materials was investigated in simulated solution of Shanbei soil, using weight loss method, electrochemical testing, SEM, EDS. The results showed that in the soil simulated solution, the corrosion rates of different grounded materials were in the following order: Q235>Q235 with galvanized coating>Q235 with copper coating. The corrosion product on Q235 steel has three different layers, the inner dense layer can protect the substrate from corrosion, while the outer layer is more porous with higher oxygen content. Oxides of Zn and Cu are the main corrosion products on Q235 with galvanized coating and copper coating respectively.
