Application of Regional Cathodic Protection with Deep Well Anode to Gas-pipeline Network in Beijing

Impressed current cathodic protection using deep well anode was applied to gas pipeline network in Fengtai district of Beijing. The technology successfully solved the problems of current leakage, anode interference, anodic ground bed gas resistance caused by unknown branch pipeline and pipe insulation uncompletely. A method to find the current leakage unknown branch and insulation treatment was provided.
