Corrosion Causes of Premium Connection S13Cr Tubing in a Well

In order to master the corrosion resistance of S13Cr,the corrosion status of premium connection S13Cr tubing in a well was checked,and the tubing specimens taken from different well depths were analyzed. Based on the analysis of the effects of main structure dimension and surface precision for the premium connection,well depth and corrosion medium,it was considered that the tubing corrosion degrees were not the same in different well depths,the less the tubing joint inner chamfer,the more the corrosion resistance;and the more the surface precision of tubing joint inner chamfer,the more the corrosion resistance.
