    Effect of Mn on Microstructure and Electrochemical Performance of Al Alloy Anode

    • Based on changing the content of Mn element (0%,0.5%,0.8%,1.2%),the microstructure of Al-5% Zn-0.03% In-1% Mg-0.05% Ti-(0%,0.5%,0.8%,1.2%)Mn alloys was observed,the electrochemical performance was tested.The effect of Mn element on the microstructure and electrochemical performance of these alloys was studied.An appropriate amount of Mn could refine the alloy grains,weaken the harmful effect of Fe impurities,improve the dissolved uniformity.and thus ensure relatively good electrochemical performance of the alloy.The alloy with 0.5%Mn had small grains and appropriate amount of segregation phases,the current efficiency reached 90.3%,the actual current capacity reached 2 577 A·h/kg.
