Abstract
The electrochemical performance of Al-Zn-In-Cd sacrificial anodes with different concentrations of Fe was studied in natural seawater at 20 ℃. Open circuit potential, closed circuit voltage, electrochemical capacity and current efficiency were determined by 4 days accelerated experiment method. Cyclic voltammetry method was used to study the sacrificial anode polarization performance. The results showed that the open circuit potential and closed circuit voltage of the Al-Zn-In-Cd sacrificial anodes were affected little by Fe concentration, but the current efficiency was affected a lot. The current efficiency decreased as the concentration of Fe increased and was bigger than 85% when Fe concentration was not more than 0.15 %. And the dissolution morphology of all samples were good. Cycle volt-ampere curves showed that the Al-Zn-In-Cd sacrificial anode had good polarization performance.
