Abstract
A carbon nanotube/Pb-Sn alloy new anti-friction composite coating was prepared on a brass sheet by electro-deposition technology.The polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy of the Pb-Sn coating and carbon nanotube/Pb-Sn composite coating were tested in 3.0% HCl,10% NaOH and 3.5% NaCl solutions.The results showed that the corrosion potential of the carbon nanotube/Pb-Sn composite coating increased in the three kinds of corrosion media,especially in 3.5% NaCl solution,it increased from -0.592 V(SCE) to -0.535 V(SCE).In addition,the composite coating had higher electrochemical impedance.Carbon nanotubes can improve the corrosion resistance of Pb-Sn plating coatings.
