Mitigation of AC Interference of Yulin-Jinan Natural Gas Pipeline

Severe AC interference occured on Yulin-Jinan natural gas pipeline. In this study, CDEGS software package was applied to simulate the mitigation of induced AC voltage on the pipeline. Zinc ribbon grounding systems and solid state decouplers were installed as a result of mitigation design. The induced AC voltage on pipeline has been greatly reduced with this mitigation solution.
