Cathodic Protection for Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP)

Prestressed concrete cylinder pipe (PCCP) is a new technology for water supply project.To avoid the corrosion of steel structures (steel cylinder and pre-stressing wire) embedded in soil,cathodic protection (CP) technology should be the best method.Based on the practical experience at home and abroad,the design and test results of cathodic protection for PCCP in south-to-north water transfer engineering are introduced.
