    APPLICATION OF RUPTURE POTENTIAL MEASUREMENT TO EVALUATION OF ANTI-CORROSION PERFORMANCE OF ZINC-CHROMIUM COATING

    • Anti-corrosion performance of zinc-chromium coating is usually evaluated by measuring weight loss rate of corrosion and measuring polarization resistance Rp and corrosion current density icorr by electrochemical method.Rupture potential measurement method was used to evaluate the anti-corrosion performance of zinc-chromium coating and the results were in consistance with the tests of Rp and icorr meaurements,indicating that the electrochemical method to measure rupture potential can evaluate the anti-corrosion performance of zinc-chromium coating.
