    Elctrolytic Corrosion of Grounding Materials in Substation

    • The corrosion performance of grounding materials including aluminium-plated steel,mild steel and copper was examinated by measures of direct current(DC) and alternating current(AC) electrolysis in 6 kinds of soils.It was found that acidity of the neutral soil had little influence on DC and AC electrolytic corrosion of the grounding materials.The DC electrolytic corrosion was proportional to the soil conductivity,while AC electrolytic corrosion was not related with the conductivity.The corrosion drgree of the grounding materials in AC electrolysis was obviously less than that in DC electrolysis.
