Abstract
The important factors inducing corrosion damage of navy aircrafts were analyzed. LY12CZ specimens were tested by the accelerated corrosion testing in laboratory and exposure testing during warship cruising in tropical marine based on the spectrua of military airport ground environments. The corrosion characteristics of the coating and base material were inspected and corrosion damage dimension was measured after the accelerated corrosion and the exposure testing on ship. The results showed that the corrosion damage characteristic of the specimens in the laboratory test was consistent with that in service situations. The corrosion rate of specimens exposed to ocean environment was larger than that in out-door field. The equivalent relationship between the distribution character of the corrosion depth and accelerated corrosion to natural exposure was obtained. The law of weight loss was studied.
