Abstract
Corrosion coupon test and electrochemical experiment were used to research the corrosion behavior of 20# steel in high salinity solutions with different concentrations of Cl-. The results showed that 20# steel in high salinity conditions was not conductive to the growth and reproduction of SRB. Microbial corrosion tendency was low on the surface of 20# steel in high concentration salt solution. And there was no microbial film formed. Microbial corrosion tendency was high in low salinity conditions and un-continuous,microbial membrane of uneven distribution was formed.
