Effect of Ozone on Phosphating Film on Carbon Steel

The effects of temperature,pH,and various concentrations of ozone dissolved in phosphate solution on phosphate coating were investigated.When the carbon steel was treated in the phosphating solution with dissolved ozone of 0.82～1.62 mg/L and pH of 2.75～2.80 at 42～45 ℃ for 5 min,the coating was gray and its weight was more than 5.90 g/m2.The coating showed good corrosion resistance.
